Florida’s PUDs - Planned Unit developments - enjoy a great deal of legislative autonomy. Through neighborhood associations (HOA), they enforce a regime of formal coherence throughout the properties that compose them, resulting a consistent, yet monotonous and conformist, closed system. Within the PUDs, the project proposes a system of rules tackling three of its elements; the backyards, the shoreline, and the homes. Proposing ways to engage with the complex floridian nature ad culture through the domestic sphere, the project seeks new forms of leisure, beauty, and ways of living together.
